Detoxing..

Why is cleansing so necessary in today's world?

A detox is a method involving a healthier, lighter change to what we normally consume as an attempt to "detoxify" the body.
By resting the digestive system for a period of time, you allow your body to undertake any necessary detoxification and repair work at cellular level that is required. The enzymes usually used for digestion will divert their energy to eliminate waste matter and move it out, via the body's natural detox organs.

Although our bodies are designed to detox themselves on a daily basis, many of us need in this day and age a cleanse from time to time. It is especially important for immune-linked diseases like allergies, arthritis, cancer, diabetes and chronic fatigue. However, even for the very health conscious ones on a good diet, a spring cleanse will revitalize your system and rid your body of viruses and parasites.

Detoxifying must be paced, so cleanse a little, build a little, cleanse a little more, build a little more etc. Toxins are stirred up slowly and steadily, keeping pace with your ability to remove the waste in your body! If you go to fast you may end up having headaches, feeling nausea and sometimes the glands swoll up a little.

Drinking a lot of fluids is very important and helps the body release its toxins much faster! So it is important to drink a lot of fresh water and fresh juices.

Try to alkalise the body as much as possible with wheat grass and other green juices and take as much dark greens in, also through powders such as chlorella and spirulina.

This juice contains all of the most potent liver cleansing ingredients, and gives your liver a gentle flush and the opportunity to heal itself. There are no side effects to this drink, only a garlic-breath for a while.
Luckely, the grapefruit removes most of the odour.

It contains vitamin c, omega 3 and probiotics

 * This is also the most incredible hangover cure if you ever get one...
